Delivering Stable Off-Grid Power for a New Residential Site at Goolwa Airport

At a newly developed residential site near Goolwa Airport, South Australia, ZYC Energy’s lithium battery technology is supporting a fully independent off-grid power system designed for long-term reliability. The installation ensures stable energy supply from the earliest stages of construction through to everyday living.

At the heart of the system are ZYC SIMPO Lithium Batteries, providing stable, high-capacity energy storage to ensure continuous power availability across varying load conditions. Securely housed within a weather-resistant steel cabinet, the battery system is engineered for safety, durability, and future scalability—allowing additional capacity to be added as the household’s energy demands grow.

The installation is supported by 17.6 kW of JA Solar panels, paired with Victron MultiPlus-II and SMA inverters, with solar input managed via Victron SmartSolar charge controllers.

By integrating ZYC’s battery storage with intelligent power electronics, the system delivers consistent power throughout the build phase and is fully prepared to support the completed home well into the future. The off-site prefabrication approach adopted by My Energy Engineering enabled a streamlined installation process, with the system ready for operation immediately upon arrival.
